Girls – Honey Bunny (MP3, Video)
Girls released Father, Son, Holy Ghost last week and I’m sure it’s getting critical praise, just like their first two LP’s. “Honey Bunny” is the album opener and sets the mood of Girls’ latest release too high for them to deliver, in my opinion. It’s a great track, reminiscent of some classic Elvis Costello, but the rest of the album doesn’t wow me too much. Still worth checking out, and definitely give the video a watch. Funny to see the crusty looking frontman driving a Corvette and picking up babes.
