Turbonegro reunites with new frontman, playing NYC – NJNews
I just found out that Turbonegro have reunited with a new frontman and are playing a show in NYC on November 18th at Santos Party House with Andrew W.K. I feel like my world just got turned upside down. News of a new singer is never what you want to hear, but when it’s your favorite band of all-time, it’s somewhat bittersweet. I’ll give Tony Sylvester a chance, I mean he looks badass and from the footage floating around, he can deliver the songs. Sylvester was the President of Turbojugend London, one of the longest active chapters of the massive Turbonegro followings, so no doubt he knows the material inside-out. It won’t be the same without Hank, but gotta give it a try before I dismiss something like this. Hotel search. It has begun. Tickets still available.
