The Antlers – VCR (Cloud, MP3)
The Antlers can do no wrong in my eyes any more. Every song they put out is great and hearing their take on other bands’ material is just as interesting. While Hospice was an amazing album, it’s great to hear them not always sounding so down and melancholy. Check out The Antlers covering “VCR”, originally by Enligish indie-pop, and hipster favorite, The xx. This is going to end up on an EP called (together), being released on November 22nd.
