Wilson Ramos Kidnapped in Venezuela – NJNews
Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos was kidnapped tonight at 6:45 pm from his house 100 miles outside the capital city of Caracas. 4 thugs entered his casa and stole his ass at gunpoint in front of his family. So far there has been no contact to the family by his kidnappers but I’m guessing that’s because Ramos has access to his funds and they are going to escort him to the bank in the morning. I have several friends that live in Philly now that left Venezuela for this same reason….violent crimes.
I can’t imagine what his family is going through right now and its so fucked up that Ramos used his talents to make it to the big leagues in the U.S.A and his own people are robbing him. The other sad part is that he only played one season in the bigs so he is most likely not a millionaire. He has been busting his ass in the minors making chump change and the only reason he is in VZ is to polish his skills in a winter league.
Personally, this has been one of the most frustrating days in sports history. I’m at work watching my Temple Owl football squad handle Miami of Ohio and they cut the fucking game off to break the news that Joe Pa has been fired. Normally they would switch right back to the game but the ignorant student body at Happy Valley started to riot. Now I’m hearing that the Seniors on the PSU football team are refusing to play Saturday unless Joe Pa is reinstated. I respect the loyalty but I don’t understand why the students/players think Joe Pa is not at fault. If Joe would’ve told the cops in 2002 what he knew, he could’ve stopped 9 years of sexual abuse. He’s lucky he’s not going to jail. Right now they have 10 boys that will testify against Sandusky and I would not be surprised if that number doubles by December. I’m going to puke now.
To sum it all up TUPAC style: fuck kidnappers, fuck pedophiles and fuck Penn State football as a staff, as criminals and as a motherfuckin’ crew. And if u down with Penn State Football, then fuck u too.
