Cameras – Defeatist (MP3, Video)
So this song isn’t new, but I recently heard it on the trailer for I Melt With You and cannot stop listening to it. Plus, once I saw the video, I knew the band Cameras are no shlubs. Excellent visuals for “Defeatist”. I need your help though. What song does it sound exactly like? I can’t pinpoint it. The vocals sound very David Bowie, the music similar to Julian Plenti or an Interpol song’s intro. I kept thinking Youth Group’s “Skeleton Jar” also, but I feel like there is another I am missing that it sounds identical to. Either way, great song from 2010 that I am just discovering.
