Silversun Pickups – Seasick (Cloud, MP3)
Silversun Pickups have already exceeded my expectations as a band with their last album Swoon. What I expected to be an updated version of the 90′s one hit wonder bands turned into one of the more exciting bands of the late-2000′s for me. They’re back with some new music. “Seasick” is included on a 10″ vinyl release that SP put out last week. These songs will not appear on their upcoming third album. Still exciting to hear anything new from this band. Hopefully some MP3 versions of these three unreleased tracks will surface soon.
UPDATE: You can download the full EP of unreleased tracks over here. Seasick includes the title track, “Broken Bottles” and “Ribbons & Detours”. That was quick.
