Wavves – Hybrid Moments (Cloud, MP3)
Wavves has that surfer rock sound that clearly draws influence from the punk rock scene. In homage to one of his favorite punk bands, The Misfits, frontman Nathan Williams tweeted an impromptu cover of the classic tune “Hybrid Moments”. Wavves should come back to Philly again since I slept on their show last go round.
