Metallica announce summer festival in Atlantic City – NJNews
Metallica have seen better days. That’s for sure. But their announcement today of a two day festival being held in Atlantic City this summer is pretty exciting stuff. The metal legends will headline both nights, June 23rd and 24th, at Bader Field in A.C. They have also hand selected the 22 bands that will play along side them for the festival. Metallica will be playing both Ride The Lightning and The Black Album in their entirety. I’d have rather heard …And Justice For All over The Black Album, but whatever. Some of the other bands set to play the Orion Music + More show include Modest Mouse, Cage The Elephant, Titus Andronicus, Fucked Up, Arctic Monkeys, Best Coast, A Place To Bury Strangers, and The Black Angels. More info over here and a full lineup still in the works. $175 2-day passes available on Saturday at 10am.
