Bad Books – Forest Whitaker (Cloud, MP3)
The start of this song totally reminds me of a Phantom Planet track that would be on their Negatives releases. Bad Books have their sophomore album II coming out on October 9th. This lead single “Forest Whitaker” excites me because the first go round was very slow paced with the exception of a couple highlights. Hopefully they keep it fun and upbeat this time around. Should this Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine side project be fun? Make it sound that way gentlemen.
