This shit is a game changer. Kanye gets real industrial throughout Yeezus, featuring production from the likes of Daft Punk, TNGHT, and Hudson Mohawke. Even the RZA beat sounds more house than the usual soulful beat. Kanye manages to be pissed off as fuck, but still make us laugh on just about every track. Buy this on Tuesday.

At halftime of the NBA Finals tonight Jay – Z announced his new album to drop July 4th; Magna Carta Holy Grail.  My man has assembled the talents of Timbaland, Skateboard, Swizzy, and Ricky Rubin.  Just from this 3 minute brainstorm session video you can tell these guys are packing some heat for the summer.  He should perform his new music at Made in America this coming Sept.  Kanye and Jay-Z dropping back to back!

The Weeknd released the title track from his upcoming album Kiss Land. This track has a ton of build up from the opening seconds but the chorus sould have delivered more. I still mess with it, but expected a little more from the first leak off his next jawn. The Weeknd is going to have a tough time getting this played on the radio.

Derriere Force One has made it’s way across the pond and Turbonegro take over NYC tonight at Irving Plaza. The Jugend will be all denimed out and ready to rock to that Deathpunk noise they’ve been waiting for. Tony Sylvester will do his best to convert the Hank lovers. I hope the set isn’t filled with too much Sexual Harassment material. I want to hear the classics.

I’m not completely into this cat, but the streets seem to respect French Montana. His debut album Excuse My French drops next Tuesday but leaked a little early. Guest spots are thorough with Scarface, Raekwon, Ne-Yo, The Weeknd, Rozay, Drake, Weezy, Nicki, Diddy, and Snoop. I probably won’t, but you can snatch it up down below. I will, however, grab the track with The Weeknd. He does no wrong.

UPDATE: Random Access Memories has leaked as most of the Internet is now aware. The album that most of you have been dying to hear supposedly does not disappoint from all of the reviews I’m reading. Rumor has it the track with Panda Bear is really good.

There are two more songs from …Like Clockwork that found their way on to YouTube over the past couple days. QOTSA seem content with releasing these preview animated videos to help build the buzz around their new album. Yesterday’s track “Kalopsia” features Trent Reznor on supporting vocals. “Keep Your Eyes Pealed” is a typical Queens track that feels a little more like album filler. “Eat Fuck” on the jacket made my day though. GG reigns.

“Swerve City” is yet another great album opener from Deftones. I’d say it’s one of my favorite tracks off Koi, which I really need to give more listens. The official video was released last week. Chino keeps busy between filming videos for these tracks and pumping out the Crosses and Palms new music. Respect the Mexican work ethic. Real recognize real.

Pusha T gets a new Kanye beat for his next single “Numbers On The Boards”. This beat sounds like a throwback Wu instrumental. This is some hard shit that will land on Pusha’s My Name Is My Name.

If you’re like me, next Saturday isn’t soon enough to hear a taste of some new Kanye West material from his upcoming sixth studio release. G.O.O.D. Music signee Hudson Mohawke, half of TNGHT, premiered a couple tracks from Kanye’s next album during his set at Freeform Festival in Poland. Damn if they don’t sound like some bangers. I have to assume Kanye’s move to an EDM sound played a huge part in scooping up Mohawke as one of his signed producers. Shit sounds bananas. Sound quality not great, but you can feel that bass heavy Yeezy shit coming.

The National will release Trouble Will Find Me next Tuesday and everything that they’ve managed to allow fans to hear is proving to be another great collection from the band. “Sea Of Love” was debuted on Fallon a little ways back and now we have the official video with a rocking little baby boy doing his best air guitar. I’m loving this track.

THE NATIONAL – SEA OF LOVE

Just after the last post about Francis Starlight, it seems only right that I share someone else from Les Poisson Rouge. NYC was graced with a solo piano performance from Dev Hynes last Saturday, which luckily for us has had a couple tunes find their way onto the YouTube. Check out Blood Orange cover a track from his close friend Solange and a short pairing with Florence Welch doing that radio track from the Jersey Shore girls’ show. Lucky bastards that knew about this one and got to enjoy the greatness.
