Yesterday, Santigold dropped her follow-up to her self-titled album with Master Of My Make Believe. A few tracks had leaked in advance, with a couple of promising cuts included. The lead single “Disparate Youth” is getting plenty of play on my end and I loved the Karen-O assist from the gate. Jack White will release Blunderbuss next Tuesday. He’s been out doing some promotion around the globe and making announcements about headlining different summer festivals. He stopped by De Harald Schmidt Show in Germany yesterday and performed two tracks off his upcoming debut, solo album. Glad it wasn’t just the two we’ve been hearing. He skips “Love Interruption” this time and performs “Sixteen Saltines”, along with a new track “Freedom at 21″. So pumped for Blunderbuss.
Kindness recently released his debut album World, You Need A Change Of Mind. Here’s another single for fans. “House” is available on iTunes to download, but you can stream it down below. This guy is funky. Him, Dev Hynes, and Starlight should link up to make some amazing music.
It has some old lines in it, but here is a new Kanye West track with a DJ Khaled feature. Not sure if this will make the G.O.O.D. Music compilation, but regardless, new Yeezy always gets play. The lead single from the label’s album drops this Friday. Get ready. Flex bombs on this one.

The pair reunite for a new track off of the upcoming Obie Trice album Bottom’s Up, due out on April 3rd. The track has production by Statik Selektah and features Trice’s former bossman Eminem spitting some fast bars. Good to see that Obie and Em are still cool even though his albums aren’t coming out on Shady Records anymore.
The latest mixtape from the Odd Future click is available in stores today. It was released with four different covers, all pictured above. For those of you who aren’t willing to spend dough on The OF Tape, Vol. 2, you might as well as download a leak of the album. OFWGKTA are gonna go bananas at the Electric Factory on Friday and will likely perform a bunch of the tracks off Vol. 2. Better get listening now if you have tickets.

I’ll definitely be picking up both The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy today. There’s a couple big family flicks out too, but I don’t get down with the children’s movies. New music is also jumpin’ off. I’m eager to hear what James Mercer’s latest version of The Shins are able to put together. So far, I’ve been moderately impressed, but I’m still hoping for the best. Odd Future are giving the second volume of The OF Tape an official release rather than posting it for free. We’ve already heard some leaked tracks off that, so you know it’s worth checking out. Here’s the latest single from Nas. “The Don” is produced by Heavy D. I didn’t even know Heavy was able to make beats really, except I do recall Hov giving him a shout at the beginning of “Guns & Roses”. When does that new Nas disc drop? “Nasty” was a minute ago now.
Frank Ocean will have this track included on the upcoming Odd Future compilation, The OF Tape, Vol. 2. Ocean always delivers, even when the song is only 2 minutes long. He’s been tapped to support Coldplay for some tour dates in the coming months. Working with Pharrell, Kanye, and Jay-Z, now touring with one of the biggest bands in the world? This cat is doin’ it.
Ricky Rozay continues to dominate the rap game with new music basically on a daily basis. It’s hard to even keep up with this guy honestly. After giving away a solid mixtape for free with Rich Forever, he’s now getting ready to drop his label’s second compilation in less than a year with Self Made, Vol. 2. After that, he’s finally going to release his much anticipated solo effort God Forgives, I Don’t. Even in the mix of this, he’s continuing to pump out remixes, guest spots, and freestyles. Rather than calling Ross a fucking pimp, I think a fucking BOSS is more fitting. Here’s some of the more recent tracks from the hardest working man in hip hop. I guess it’s official. This Wu Block project is just gonna be Ghostface and Sheek Louch. Regardless if the rest of The Wu and The Lox are on these tracks, every one of the songs that have leaked have been fire so far. Here’s another one that got released today. “Barry” has a nice soulful sample of a classic Barry White track. Pretty Tony kissing the bird might be my favorite picture to ever make the site that didn’t have a BasedGod reference.
Here’s a new leak for the real hip hop fans. MAYDAY will drop Take Me To Your Leader on March 27th. This new track “T.N.T.” features Dead Prez. You already know what to expect lyrically when Dead Prez are on a track.
While nothing on the music side is really worth checking out, in my opinion, there are a couple new releases to DVD and Blu-Ray that require checking out or picking up today. With season two fast approaching, now is the time to watch Game Of Thrones: Season One if you slept on the HBO fantasy-war series. If you think Thrones is just for nerds, at least give it a watch to see Emilia Clarke in the nude. If you’re all caught up on that and want something to freak you the fuck out, then Perdo Almodóvar has released just what you need in your life. The Skin I Live In looks like one twisted ass love story, but what do you expect from Almodóvar? The Oscar winner has a gift for putting his characters in strange and unexplored situations. If not a fan of his previous movies like Volver and Bad Education, I don’t know how you’re going to feel about his latest creation starring Antonio Benderas. I’m stoked to finally get to see this one. Check out an extended list of new movies and album releases for today.

Overnight, the highly anticipated Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius collaboration WZRD leaked. The album is due out next Tuesday, February 28th, but you can download the leak now. I know Albusy thinks Cudi is going way too far on the emo tip with this project, but I’m feeling it. Can’t give this a listen just yet, but hopefully the link doesn’t get removed before I get a chance.
